Hi, I'm Hazel °‧𓆝 𓆟 𓆞·｡
I'm a music psychology researcher, equal parts scientist & dreamer,
exploring what happens in our minds when we listen to music —
the way music influences, shapes, & colours experiences of
our connections, relations, stories, images, memories, &
created worlds.
My dream is to re-inject curiosity into how we empirically study
the meeting of music & the mind,
finding a way to better respect the wonder, weirdness, & whimsy
of such encounters, rather than flattening it into tidy explanations.
Follow my research ventures, joining science & art, uncovering glimpses of imagination and
the relational encounters between ourselves, music, others, & our shared worlds.

Learn to swim with the currents of inspiration and share in the delights of the catch.
The joy is not in possessing the fish, but in the act of fishing itself — the thrill of discovery, the dance with the unknown, and the shared indulgence in what we catch together.
Creativity is a vast ocean teeming with ideas, curiosity is the best bait, but a full net is always better reeled in with others.
